This Weather Ducks does not have user accounts, does not run our own server for app data, does not sell data, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The app asks for location permission so it can show weather for where you are. That is the job. A dramatic job, apparently.
If you grant location permission, the app uses iOS Location Services to get your current location for weather forecasts. We do not store your precise location on our servers. We do not have those servers.
Forecasts are powered by Apple WeatherKit. WeatherKit receives the location needed to return the forecast. Apple describes WeatherKit location use as forecast-only, not associated with personally identifiable information, and not tracked between requests.
You can change location permission any time in iOS Settings.
If you contact support, we receive whatever you choose to send in that email, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or device details. We use that only to respond and troubleshoot.
If Unhinged Premium is available, purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
This Weather Ducks is not designed to collect personal information from children. Since we do not run accounts or analytics, we are not trying to build dossiers on anyone. Especially not small people with better weather instincts.
If the app starts collecting anything material in the future, this page will change before that happens. Ideally with less drama than the forecast.
