This Privacy Policy explains how This Weather Ducks handles information when you use the iOS app, widgets, and this website.
This Weather Ducks does not require an account, does not operate an app backend for user profiles, does not sell personal information, and does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Location Information
If you grant location permission, the app uses iOS Location Services to determine the weather location used for forecasts. Location permission is optional, but weather features may be limited if permission is denied.
Forecasts are powered by Apple WeatherKit. WeatherKit receives the location needed to return forecast data. Apple describes WeatherKit location use as forecast-only, not associated with personally identifiable information, and not tracked between requests.
This Weather Ducks does not store your precise location on its own servers and does not sell or share your location for advertising. You can change location permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not create user accounts.
- We do not collect your name through the app.
- We do not collect your email address unless you contact support.
- We do not collect advertising identifiers.
- We do not build analytics profiles.
- We do not sell personal information.
Support Email
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, or diagnostic information. We use that information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records.
Purchases
If Unhinged Premium is available, purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide purchase status information needed to unlock paid features.
Children
This Weather Ducks is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communication, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy if app features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
